1. Acceptance of Hunter Terms

By submitting work to any bounty on bounty.quest, you accept and agree to be bound by these Hunter Terms of Service in addition to our general Terms of Service. These terms are specifically designed to govern the relationship between bounty hunters and the platform.

2. Hunter Responsibilities

As a bounty hunter, you agree to:

• Submit only original work that you have created or have proper rights to use
• Meet all specified requirements outlined in the bounty description
• Provide accurate and honest descriptions of your submitted work
• Not plagiarize, copy, or submit work that violates intellectual property rights
• Communicate with bounty posters exclusively through the platform's designated communication tools
• Only submit work that is complete and meets the quality standards described

3. Work Ownership and Rights

You retain ownership of your original work until payment is made. Upon successful completion and payment of a bounty, you grant the bounty poster the usage rights as specified in the bounty description. If no specific rights are mentioned, standard commercial usage rights are assumed.

You warrant that all submitted work is original, does not infringe on any third-party rights, and that you have the legal authority to grant the specified usage rights.

4. Submission Guidelines

All submissions must:

• Be directly related to and fulfill the bounty requirements
• Include clear documentation or explanation of the work completed
• Provide working links or files that can be properly reviewed
• Not contain malicious code, inappropriate content, or harmful materials

5. Payment and Rewards

Payment for approved submissions will be processed according to the bounty poster's timeline and our platform's payment processing schedule. You understand that:

• Payment is contingent upon approval of your submission by the bounty poster
• Bounty posters have complete and sole discretion in selecting winning submissions
• Bounty posters are not obligated to accept any submission, even if it meets all stated criteria
• Platform processing and service fees of up to 15% will be deducted from your reward
• You are responsible for any tax obligations related to bounty earnings
• Disputes regarding payment will be handled according to our dispute resolution process

As a hunter, you acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee of bounty.quest or any bounty poster. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes on your earnings. We do not withhold any taxes from payments unless specifically required by applicable regulations. You should consult with a tax professional regarding your tax obligations.

6. Payment Processing and Withdrawals

We process payments through Stripe Connect, providing a secure and efficient way to receive your earnings. To receive payments, you must complete the Stripe Express onboarding process. Once your Stripe Express account is set up and verified, you can withdraw your available balance at any time with no withdrawal fees from our platform. Standard Stripe processing times and any applicable bank transfer times will apply to withdrawals.

7. Liability and Disputes

bounty.quest serves solely as a platform facilitating connections between bounty posters and hunters. We are not responsible for:

• Decisions made by bounty posters regarding submission acceptance or rejection
• Quality or accuracy of bounty requirements or descriptions
• Disputes between hunters and bounty posters
• Loss of work or data due to platform technical issues
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use

While we strive to maintain a fair environment, all final decisions regarding bounty awards rest solely with the bounty posters. We do not guarantee that any submission will be accepted or rewarded, regardless of quality or completeness.

8. Quality Standards

We expect all hunters to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism. Submissions should demonstrate genuine effort and skill appropriate to the bounty's complexity and reward amount. Repeated submission of low-quality or incomplete work may result in account restrictions.

9. Communication and Conduct

All communication with bounty posters must occur through the platform's designated communication tools and channels. You agree to respond to reasonable requests for clarification from bounty posters in a timely manner through these official platform channels. Communication outside the platform's designated tools is prohibited and may result in account restrictions. Off-platform communication puts both parties at risk and voids all platform protections. We cannot assist with or protect you from any issues arising from off-platform interactions. Harassment, spam, or unprofessional behavior towards bounty posters or other users is strictly prohibited.

10. Prohibited Activities

As a hunter, you may not:

• Submit work that you did not create or do not have rights to
• Attempt to communicate with bounty posters outside of the platform for any reason
• Attempt to circumvent platform fees through off-platform arrangements
• Share or request personal contact information with bounty posters
• Submit work that contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or the nature of your submission
• Engage in any form of manipulation or fraudulent activity

11. Account Standing

Maintaining good standing as a hunter requires consistent quality work, professional communication, and adherence to these terms. Violations may result in warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent account suspension depending on severity.

12. Platform Protection

By submitting work through our platform, you help us maintain a safe and trustworthy environment. You agree to report any suspicious activity, policy violations, or inappropriate behavior you encounter while using the platform.

13. Changes to Hunter Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Hunter Terms of Service at any time. Hunters will be notified of significant changes, and continued submission of work to bounties constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

Please note that while we will make reasonable efforts to assist in dispute resolution, our role is limited to facilitation, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome. All decisions regarding bounty awards remain at the sole discretion of the bounty posters.
